Emily Bridges (formerly Emily Prior) is the founder of Re:Accounts. She qualified and trained as a Chartered Accountant at Crouch Chapman, a medium sized City of London accountancy firm. In 2005, Emily won the prestigious Tax Prize from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) for her exceptional exam results. Her areas of expertise include tax planning and working with commercial businesses, especially contractors. Also, Emily is officially a Xero champion! She holds three certifications on Xero – the leading online book keeping and accounting solution.
Her interest in working with charities began in the summer of 2007 while working with Kingston Smith in their ‘Not for Profit’ department. Since then she has had varied experience in the ‘Not For Profit’ sector including schools and education charities, cancer charities, refugee charities, Community Interest Companies and religious charities. Emily has been involved in all aspects of working with charities, from auditing and advising to bookkeeping and really enjoys the unique challenges of each charity.
In 2008 Emily moved to FSPG, a boutique West End firm, where she was able to continue working with a number of commercial entities as well as with charities.
In 2009 Emily set up Re:Accounts. Her vision for the company is to build long-term relationships with clients and help their businesses grow.
Office Manager & Book Keeper
Karin Endersby is the rock-solid office manager at Re:Accounts. She holds everything together with her calm, confident manner and makes sure all client requests are attended to quickly and efficiently.
In her other life she runs a craft group as a volunteer for a day centre and enjoys playing the flute and singing.
Senior Book Keeper
Colette Preston brings 10 years of investment banking experience, complex book keeping and business administration to the job. She has a combined honours degree in business computing and law and is an expert at excel, data analysis and generating management information.
Colette worked with Deutsche Asset Management from 1999 to 2001and then with Barclays Global investors from 2001 to 2011. She joined Re:Accounts in 2014. Her wealth of experience helps her find solutions to the most challenging of requests.
When she is not working, Colette spends as much time as possible reading.
